Supervisor Training

All (DOT) Department of Transportation Agencies (FMCSA), (FTA), (FAA),( FRA),( PHMSA), & (USCG) are required to have their supervisors trained on the indicators of drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace and how to handle a reasonable suspicion.

Non-regulated companies in today’s workplace are discovering the safety benefits by educating and training their supervisors on the indicators. Education is one of the best tools an employer can give to an employee to make their job easier and for legal protection.

The 3-hour course covers a comprehensive look at:

  • DOT revised regulations and guidelines on what supervisors need to know
  • Indicators of drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace
  • Procedures and Intervention guidelines for reasonable suspicion
  • Circumstances under which an employee is tested
  • Consequences of violations

Error Correction Training

This training is required if the collector makes an error that causes a DOT drug test or alcohol test to be canceled under any circumstance. Per regulations this training must occur within 30 days of the date you were notified of the error that led to the need for retraining.
