At DATCS, we help employers take full control of their compliance strategy. Whether you choose to train your internal team, rely on our certified testing services, or combine both, we designed our programs to reduce costs, improve turnaround time, and ensure long-term audit readiness.

We deliver DOT-compliant, audit-ready, nationwide training programs for DERs, supervisors, and collection site staff, backed by decades of experience performing thousands of tests across regulated industries. Employers trust us to strengthen internal capabilities while remaining a reliable partner for overflow testing, consulting, and regulatory support.

Our flexible training model gives your organization control over:

  • Testing timelines and staff availability
  • Cost reduction from third-party dependency
  • Confidence in regulatory audits and field inspections
  • Internal team readiness and real-time compliance response

DATCS is your compliance partner from start to finish, whether you’re outsourcing, in-sourcing, or creating a hybrid model.

Why Training Your Internal Team in Drug and Alcohol Testing Is a Smart, Strategic Move

Today’s employers face increasing pressure to respond quickly, maintain documentation integrity, and stay audit-ready, especially in regulated or safety-sensitive environments. Relying solely on outside testing vendors can lead to scheduling delays, compliance gaps, or reduced control when timing is critical.

That’s why more organizations are trusting DATCS to lead the way in internal training for DERs, supervisors, and collection staff investments.

With DATCS-certified training, your team can:

  • Respond faster to random, post-incident, or reasonable suspicion events
  • Lower long-term testing costs while maintaining strict compliance
  • Build audit-ready confidence with certified processes and documentation
  • Maintain complete control of your testing process across all locations

But internal training doesn’t mean doing it alone. DATCS remains your compliance partner, offering:

  • Emergency and after-hours testing services
  • Overflow and mobile testing support
  • Requalification, policy consulting, and compliance updates
  • Complex or high-risk collection handling when your team needs backup

  • Recognizing physical, behavioral, and performance indicators of substance misuse.
  • Proper documentation and reporting procedures.
  • Steps to remove employees from duty when impairment is suspected.
  • Guidance on confidentiality and DOT compliance.

At DATCS, our supervisor training is trusted by DOT-regulated agencies and non-regulated employers who want to improve workplace safety and reduce liability.
